As announced in our January 2026 Newsletter,  AVHRA is now known as SHRM North Central Washington!  This name change aligns our chapter brand more closely with the national SHRM brand and also reflects the five counties we serve and our commitment to being inclusive of our entire HR community across the region. 

SHRM North Central Washington (SHRM NCW)  is comprised of a diverse group of professionals looking to advance in the HR profession.

Our chapter provides its members with opportunities to network with their peers, to learn from experts in their field and to promote HR management.

Our purpose is to support and enhance the practice of HR management and the effectiveness of HR professionals in the organizations and communities we serve in Northern Central Washington.
