2027 EISHRM Board of Directors Applications Are Now Open!

Eastern Iowa SHRM is looking for passionate, engaged HR professionals who are ready to help shape the future of our chapter and the HR profession across Eastern Iowa.

Serving on the EISHRM Board of Directors is an opportunity to expand your leadership experience, build meaningful professional relationships, contribute to the HR community, and help create programming and resources that support HR professionals throughout our region.

Whether you are a longtime EISHRM member or are looking for a new way to become involved, we encourage you to consider applying for a 2027 Board position.

Who Should Apply?

We are looking for individuals who are collaborative, dependable, creative, and passionate about the HR profession.

Previous board experience is not required. We welcome HR professionals from a variety of industries, career levels, specialties, and backgrounds. What matters most is a willingness to contribute, follow through on commitments, and help EISHRM continue to grow.

2027 Board Opportunities

A variety of elected Officer and appointed Board positions are available for 2027.

Application & Selection Timeline

Please note the following important dates:

November 2, 2026: Applications are due

November 6–16, 2026: Elections for Officer positions will be held

November 30, 2026: Appointed positions will be assigned by the Executive Officers

December 11, 2026 — Save the Date: Optional Leadership Event in Des Moines for 2027 Board Members

January 2027: All elected and appointed members of the Board of Directors will be sworn in
