Our very own, Jud Stelter, attorney, will present on remote work.

Jud is a management-side employment lawyer and has been for his 20-year career. He grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated from BYU. He initially worked in mental health and moved to Northeast Ohio to attend graduate school as a mental health therapist. After completing a degree as a therapist, Jud switched gears and went to law school. He lived in Northeast Ohio for 12 years before moving back to Utah in 2015. He practiced law with large, national law firms his entire career but recently  launched his own law office, Stelter Law, PLLC. Helping companies with their employment headaches is something he loves to do.

This presentation addresses nuanced and quirky wage and hour challenges with respect to remote workers and will address issues related to travel time, on-call or stand-by time, after-hours work, best practices for work-from-home policies, multi-state issues, etc.
