A Strengths-Based Coaching Approach for HR Leaders

What if the fastest path to employee engagement and leadership impact isn’t fixing what’s broken – but unlocking what’s already working?

In this energizing and interactive session, HR professionals will step into the role of “strengths detective,” using the Appreciative Coaching Model to uncover what energizes and elevates them, as well as the employees they support. Through reflective prompts, guided coaching, and peer-based discovery, attendees will learn to identify their “positive core”—the unique blend of strengths, values, and capabilities that drive performance and fulfillment. They’ll leave with a framework for bringing this strengths-based approach back to their organizations to enable all team members to work and contribute at the top of their game – optimizing organizational outcomes.

Presenter:  Stacey Chazin is a leadership development coach who helps organizations unlock the power of hidden talent. Stacey partners with leaders, HR teams, and culture-builders to shift outdated leadership norms—transforming environments that reward charisma into ones that also recognize strategic depth, calm under pressure, and thoughtful influence.

She also coaches high-performing introverts to embrace their natural strengths, overcome visibility bias, and build authentic influence—without burning out or pretending to be someone they’re not.

Stacey’s approach blends research-backed insight with lived experience, drawing on three decades of corporate and nonprofit work, undergraduate degrees in marketing and communication, a master’s in organizational development and leadership, and certifications in Appreciative Coaching and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) framework.

Stacey helps organizations and individuals rewrite the script on leadership—so that every style can contribute at full strength and drive sustainable results.
