Apple Valley Human Resource Association (AVHRA) is changing our name to:

✨ SHRM North Central Washington! ✨

As announced in our quarterly newsletter, AVHRA is becoming SHRM North Central Washington as we prepare to align our chapter brand more closely with the national SHRM brand. We believe this new name better reflects the five counties we serve and our commitment to being inclusive of our entire HR community across the region. This new chapter name is just the tip of the iceberg! Our big plans for 2026 include membership appreciate events, exciting program offerings including our popular Employment Law Summit and a new and improved website later this year.
