Compensation in the AI Era: Building Fair, Competitive, and Data-Driven Pay Systems
with Kevin Marrs, Vice President, American Society of Employers

Compensation has moved beyond compliance. It now shapes engagement, retention, and trust, and employees increasingly expect pay that is competitive, transparent, and equitable. Meanwhile, AI and analytics are transforming how pay is designed, managed, and communicated. But you don't need an enterprise budget to benefit: this session shows how even small HR teams can put automation, data, and AI to work. Attendees will leave with practical tools for streamlining compensation data and reporting, a framework for adopting AI without ceding control of pay decisions, and a clear picture of the transparency requirements now reshaping the landscape.

Learning objectives (three takeaways):

  1. Identify opportunities to automate compensation data collection, analysis, and reporting
  2. Evaluate AI applications across the compensation lifecycle
  3. Describe the foundational practices that make technology effective
