About the Training

The Branson Tri-Lakes HR Association is partnering with Tomo Drug Testing to bring an updated Supervisor Impairment Recognition Training to HR professionals, supervisors, and business leaders in the Tri-Lakes area.

Supervisors are often the first to notice when something isn’t quite right. Knowing how to recognize signs of possible substance impairment—and how to respond appropriately—can make a critical difference in maintaining a safe, compliant, and professional workplace.

This training provides leaders with practical tools to confidently identify warning signs, respond appropriately, and properly document concerns while remaining compliant with workplace policies and safety regulations. The program meets DOT regulatory requirements and aligns with many company policy mandates.

Participants will receive:

  • A comprehensive training manual for future reference
  • Sample documentation forms and suggested report wording
  • A certificate of completion

What’s New in the Updated Training

Since the last session offered in 2023, this training has been expanded and enhanced into a three‑hour program with additional hands‑on learning and practical application.

Updates include:

  • Increased focus on marijuana impairment recognition
  • Expanded instruction on proper supervisor documentation
  • Interactive demonstrations using four pairs of impairment goggles to illustrate how impairment affects coordination and judgment

These enhancements make the training more engaging, realistic, and relevant to today’s workplace challenges. As a result, this format has quickly become the most requested training offered by Tomo Drug Testing.
