Did you know there are over 550 SHRM chapters across our great nation that are run almost completely by volunteers?  SHRM Northstate needs a continuous stream of volunteers for a successful future. If you love being involved and getting things accomplished, in addition to expanding your network and contributing to non-profit organization with an amazing team, let's talk.

BOARD OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE (as of 3/12/26)
  • Social Media Coordinator - We need someone who is good at social media to be sure our messages are getting seen on all of the applicable social media platforms and advise where we need to be. If you love posting, sharing, and liking we need you! 
  • President Elect - We need someone who is interested in being President in 2028. Join us, get involved, and learn everything you can. Play a big role in Programs to ensure programs run smoothly. Back up President in their absence. Help other Board members as requested or assigned.
COMMITTEE OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE
  • Membership Committee Members - Help us help you! We need volunteers to various membership type duties - welcome new members, touch base with members we haven't seen, help us with our 'at-large' members, 
  • Program Committee Members - Are you interested in helping us plan out our chapter programs each year? Get involved and help find good topics and amazing speakers. 
  • HR Summit Committee Members - We always love help and ideas for our Annual HR Summit that is held each year in October. Let us know if you are interested. 
  • Marketing - Graphics - Social Media Committee Members -- Do you have graphic skills? Do you love marketing? What about socia media?  Sign up to help us!
