SHRM Portage County's goal for our Emerging Professionals committee is to build a collaborative relationship with the students, advisors, and officials from our partnering Colleges and Universities.
To support our student members of the Kent State University HR Association, we offer a $1000 academic scholarship through our SHRM Portage County Academic Scholarship Program.
Eligibility:
- Pursuing an undergraduate/graduate degree with an emphasis in the field of human resource management.
- Sophomore or higher student status; with at least one more semester of school left at time of award.
- Demonstrating commitment to the student SHRM chapter.
- Demonstrating leadership ability through community service or charitable organizations.
