About Us

The premier professional association for human resource professionals in southwestern North Dakota with over 60 members representing over 45 employers. Founded in 1999, under the name Southwest Area Human Resource Associaion (SAHRA) has always been an affiliate of SHRM.  In 2026, the group strengthened it's affiliation with SHRM by adapting a co-branded logo and a trade name of Southweest North Dakota SHRM.

Bylaws and Policies

The Southwestern Area Human Resources Association (SAHRA) was chartered as a chapter on September 9, 1999 and the bylaws last revision was approved by the membership on October 12, 2017.   New bylaws will be adapted and posted in 2026-2027. Click here for a copy of the bylaws.
