Grief in the Workplace: Beyond "I AM SORRY"
Grief is an inevitable part of life, yet many workplaces struggle
to support employees through loss.
This presentation will explore the impact
of unaddressed grief on productivity and well-being,
and will highlight strategies for fostering a compassionate workplace.

Slater is a recent graduate of FHSU with a Masters of Professional Studies in Organizational Leadership. He is Assistant Vice President - Customer Service Marketing & Training with Grant County Bank in Ulysses, KS. He is also President/Founder of Keep Life Jumping 4 Kay, Inc., a non-profit honoring his late grandmother that provides monetary support and practical items to cancer warriers in Southwest and Central Kansas & the OK panhandle. Slater also currently serves as the KS SHRM State Council College Relations Director.
