Colorado is part of the Southwest Central Region of SHRM. SHRM has seven regions in the United States, Asia and the Caribbean.
The Southwest Central Region includes: ARKANSAS, COLORADO, KANSAS, LOUISIANA, MISSOURI, NEW MEXICO, OKLAHOMA, TEXAS, UTAH
The Southwest Central Regional Team acts as a liaison between SHRM and our members by:
- Helping individual members with questions and membership
- Assisting chapters in remaining affiliated and with chapter operations
- Attending state council and regional council meetings
- Participating at state conferences
- Acting as a speaker at chapter meeting, state conferences, and other events
- Promoting SHRM member benefits
- Assisting in the recruitment and retention of members
- Supporting potential chapters in becoming affiliated
