DHRMA Membership 

Scholarship, Foundation, Meal and Speaker Fees

DHRMA is a Dual Membership SHRM Affiliate Chapter as of 2026.  This means that when you join SHRM, you should choose DHRMA as your local chapter.  Once complete, you are automatically a DHRMA member with no additional membership fee.

However, each individual member shall pay the sum of $200 per year for Scholarship, Foundation, Meal and Speaker fees.  These dues are payable on January 1 of each year.  Dues shall be delinquent on or after February 1 of each year. 

Members approved after July 1 of each year shall pay one-half the annual sum specified for the Scholarship, Foundation, Meal and Speaker fees.  

Any special assessment must be voted by the majority of the membership.

Guests who attend will pay a flat $20 fee to cover their meal.

Chapter use of these fees:

  • Sponsor an annual $500 scholarship to “Sons and Daughters of DHRMA”
  • Make annual donations to the SHRM Foundation. 
  • Defray cost of annual travel to Leadership Conference.
  • Produce an Annual HR Seminar.
  • Host an annual holiday party for DHRMA members and one guest.
