South Puget Sound SHRM is calling on passionate professionals to step forward and help shape the future of our HR community. As a board leader, you’ll collaborate with peers, drive meaningful initiatives, and champion the values that strengthen our region’s workforce. This is your opportunity to lead with purpose, share your expertise, and make a lasting impact on the next generation of HR leadership.
We currently have the following positions available immediately:
- President Elect
- Secretary
- Workforce Readiness and College Relations Director
We also are recruiting the following positions for the 2027 calendar year:
- Certifications Director
- Legislative Director
- Treasurer
Members who wish to be considered for a board position must:
- Be a South Puget Sound Chapter member;
- Be a regular/active participant at chapter meetings and continue to do so;
- Ideally have experience volunteering in this type of capacity (though not required); and
- Attend monthly (at minimum) Board Meetings.
