SHRM Certification Scholarships
The South Puget Sound SHRM Chapter’s mission is to develop and connect South Sound Human Resource professionals by providing strategic and practical tools and resources. SPS SHRM takes pride in supporting its members in their professional growth and are leaders in all aspects of human resources. Achieving and maintaining professional certification in Human Resources is one way for HR professionals to elevate their standing in the profession. To encourage professional development of its members and to recognize the efforts of members to further their careers in the Human Resources field, the SPS SHRM has established a certification scholarship given out twice a year.
Scholarship funds may be used to purchase test preparation materials, attend a certification preparation seminar, and/or pay the exam fee. This scholarship is a one-time award. Previous applicants are eligible to apply. Additionally, previous scholarship recipients may apply if pursuing an additional certification.
